My Artistic Journey
As an aspiring mixed media artist, my journey began with a passion for both original creations and fan art. I draw inspiration from fantasy themes and the beauty of nature, blending these elements into my unique pieces.
I’ve wanted to be an artist since I could hold a pencil. Growing up it was expressed that it wasn’t possible to make a living through art, with society being adamant that you could only be a starving artist. Luckily in today’s world this is no longer the case, with the rise of technology and the growing and supportive art community.
I am self taught with no formal education. I'm extremely grateful for the art community's willingness to share and teach, and all the resources available, especially the school of YouTube! There are so many artists with fantastic channels featuring tutorials and draw-a-longs! I'm very thankful for you all!
I like to play with all forms of media. I tend to get bored of just one and cycle through my various (and ever growing number) of supplies. From watercolours to pastels to 3d printing, I think I have most formats...but I'm always looking for more!
